Lili Pope (BAM class of 2024) graduated with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and Global Health Studies and a minor in Psychology. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in public health at Feinberg. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, sailing, and shooting photography.
Téa Baum (BAM class of 2023) graduated with a B.A. in Human Development in Context with a minor in Psychology. She is currently a working actress in Chicago. In her free time, Téa loves accumulating new plants for her collection, swimming in Lake Michigan, and working with kids!
Lisa Vicini (BAM class of 2023) graduated with a B.A. in Neuroscience and Psychology with a minor in Art History. She is currently a Research Assistant at the Developmental Mechanisms Lab in the Department of Medical Social Sciences and Institute for Innovations in Developmental Sciences at Feinberg School of Medicine. She is currently working as a Bilingual RA in the HEALthy Brain and Child Development Study, a longitudinal study hoping to better understand brain development beginning in the prenatal period and extending through early childhood.
Marren Jenkins (BAM class of 2022) graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and Economics with a minor in Data Science. She is currently a full-time research assistant in the Woodward Lab within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, working primarily on a project studying anxiety neurocircuitry in individuals with psychosis.
Harlym Pike (BAM class of 2022, she/her) graduated with a B.A. in Psychology with minors in sociology and theatre. She now works in Chicago in Human Capital consulting at Deloitte, and is deferring her enrollment at the Kellogg School of Management for her MBA.
Ilyana Schlesinger (BAM class of 2022) graduated with a B.A. in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Psychology. She currently works in management consulting at Bain & Company.
Courtney Goldenberg (BAM class of 2021) graduated with a B.A. in Psychology. She is currently a doctoral student at Texas Tech University studying Clinical Psychology, where she explores the link between ACE, involvement in the juvenile justice system, and interpersonal relationships. In her free time, Courtney enjoys coaching for Special Olympics, reading in coffee shops, and spending time with loved ones.
Dana Lurie (BAM class of 2021) is now a student at Harvard Law School after graduating from Northwestern with a B.S. in social policy. They're studying criminal law and plan on going into public defense after law school. In their free time, Dana likes trying every bagel Boston has to offer, working out at overcrowded campus gyms, and avoiding their readings.
Radhika Rahlan (BAM Class of 2021) graduated from Northwestern with a BA in Economics and Psychology and the IMC Certificate. She works at Bloomingdale's as a Senior Assistant Buyer in New York City. In her free time, she loves to bake, watch rom coms or Disney channel originals, and try overpriced lattes around the city.
Anamaria Sayre (BAM class of 2021) graduated from Northwestern with a BA in Cognitive Science and History. She is currently working as an Assistant Producer for NPR Music, spending most of her time creating Tiny Desk concerts and producing for the show Alt.Latino. Anamaria is a lover of all things outdoors, including, but not limited to, hiking, swimming, and very cute baby animals.
Rachel Epstein (BAM class of 2020) graduated from Northwestern with a BS in Human Development and Psychological Services and a minor in Psychology. She graduated from Boston University with her master's degree in Genetic Counseling in the spring of 2022. She is now back in Chicago and is working as a genetic counselor in the Center for Medical Genetics at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston.
Michelle Williams (BAM class of 2020) graduated from Northwestern with a B.A. in Psychology and the IMC Certificate. She later earned a master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern's Medill School and currently works at Northwestern's Office of Global Marketing as a Marketing Coordinator.
Stefani Amick (BAM class of 2019) graduated from Northwestern with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She currently attends the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration where she will earn a master's degree in social work. She is pursuing a career as a licensed clinical social worker and is excited to provide therapy and work with children, adolescents, and families.
Eliza Beth (BAM class of 2019) graduated in 2019 with a major in Human Development and Psychological Services and a minor in Global Health Studies. She is currently an Education & Training Coordinator at HealthHIV, a DC-based nonprofit that tackles HIV, Hepatitis C, and Opioid Use prevention and treatment. In her free time, Eliza can be found reading (romance novels), feeling nervous about world issues, and hiking.
Audrey DeLong (BAM class of 2019) graduated from Northwestern with a degree in English literature with a minor in Psychology. After graduating, she worked as a pediatric behavioral therapist and is currently attending medical school at Case Western Reserve University.
Anne Zola (BAM Class of 2019) is a Research Data Analyst at Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine in the Psychometrics and Statistics Core. After BAM, she earned her master's at the Oxford Internet Institute where she studied how body acceptance movements are talked about online.
Annie Gevertz (BAM class of 2018) graduated from Northwestern with a BA in Psychology and inor in Science in Human Culture. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Pennsylvania and plans to pursue a career in pediatric nursing.
Megan Imundo (BAM class of 2018) earned her PhD in Cognitive Psychology from UCLA and is currently a Research Scientist at Arizona State University's Learning Engineering Institute. Her research uses a variety of data and methods to inform the development of classroom practices and technologies to support student outcomes.

Ellen Wu (BAM class of 2018) is pursuing her MD at Feinberg School of Medicine. She is currently working on translational research with newly developed, wireless skin sensors that monitor vital signs in infants and neonates in the critical care unit. She also enjoys volunteering as an ESL tutor in the greater Chicagoland area.
Sarah Johnson (BAM Class of 2017) is currently at the University of Kansas pursuing her PhD in clinical psychology. Her current research is on novel methods of assessment, diagnosis, and classification of eating disorders and disordered eating behaviors.
Jacob Rosenblum (BAM class of 2017) is a Family Engagement Associate at Crown Family Philanthropies. He is also pursuing a part-time Master's in Urban Planning and Policy at the University of Illinois Chicago with a specialization in Urban Transportation. Jacob works with the Community Memorial Foundation in Hinsdale, Illinois as a facilitator of Young Community Changemakers, a youth philanthropy program offered to high school juniors and seniors that culminates in youth-led grantmaking to local health nonprofit organizations. In his free time, Jacob serves on the board of Friends of Bret Harte Elementary, which supports the CPS elementary school serving Chicago's East Hyde Park neighborhood.
Sowa Imoisili (BAM class of 2016) graduated from Northwestern with a degree in Psychology and Economics and a minor in Creative Writing. Post-graduation, she spent a year lecturing at Shue Yan University in Hong Kong through a Princeton in Asia Fellowship. Currently, Sowa works at Accenture in the Boston Innovation Hub. In her spare time, she continues to pursue her passion for education by tutoring students in Canada, China, Hong Kong and Singapore as well as volunteering with organizations focused on community enrichment and developing students' entrepreneurial skills.
Margaret Shavlik (BAM class of 2016) graduated from Northwestern with a degree in Psychology and Cognitive Science. She is currently pursuing her PhD as a graduate student at Vanderbilt University, where her research interests involve the effects of socioeconomic status on children's reading skills and overall school readiness. When not in the lab or classroom, Margaret likes to go on adventures with her camera and her goofy dog, Dot.
Natalie Stern (BAM class of 2016) spent 1.5 years working in the Body and Media lab and wrote her senior thesis on self-compassion and body image. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2023 and is pursuing a child and adolescent psychiatry physician–scientist research track residency at NYU. During residency, she hopes to continue pursuing clinical research with a focus on women's mental health, eating disorders, and body image in adolescents.
Peter Cleary (BAM class of 2015) continued working at Northwestern after graduation as a research coordinator through the Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health & Wellbeing. They are now a medical student at the University of Southern California planning on residency in Family Medicine or Pediatrics. Outside of work, Peter enjoys attending drag shows, playing dungeons and dragons with friends, and annoying their roommates' cats.
Olivia Foster-Gimbel (BAM class of 2015) is a PhD student in Management and Organizations at NYU Stern School of Business. She studies group inequity from the perspective of advantaged group members, exploring how people understand their privileges and when they relinquish them. Always a BAM at heart, she and Renee are currently working on a project looking at men's understanding of women's everyday objectification experiences.
Katherine Scott (BAM Class of 2015) is currently pursuing both her M.A. in Dance/Movement Therapy & Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Laban Movement Analysis at Columbia College Chicago. She also works as a freelance teaching artist and choreographer in the Chicagoland area.
Jazz Stephens (BAM class of 2015) is a research assistant at Northwestern's Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Well-being (ISGMH). She is currently involved in a longitudinal study examining healthy and unhealthy relationship dynamics in young LGBTQ folks assigned female at birth. While pondering her next life-move, Jazz spends her time hanging out with her two cat children, Marlin and Polar Bear.
Robert (Robbie) Gomez (BAM class of 2014) earned his master's in counseling from Northwestern University. He currently practices at Busy Bee Counseling , in Chicago. He has a cat named Mags, loves to game, and is passionate about affordable and accessible mental health care. He wants a world where everyone who wants therapy can get it with minimal hurdles and hoops to jump through. Robbie specializes in couples, career counseling, and LGBTQ issues.
Dani Alcorn (BAM class of 2013) is the Chief Operating Officer at Writing Academy, an online school and community for aspiring authors. Dani is still an avid Roller Derby superfan and, though she doesn't play, one of her proudest accomplishments is inspiring Nicholas RaGe to join the team. Kayla Grayson (BAM class of 2013) is an MBA student at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management, focusing on marketing, data analytics, and technology management. She is also a Kellogg Applied Data Science Fellow in partnership with Northwestern's Masters of Science in Analytics program. Prior to returning to school full time, Kayla was a Manager at Nielsen in the innovation analytics practice area known as BASES. In her free time, Kayla coaches figure skating and performs as part of several Chicago-based skating groups.

His work with Professor Engeln's Body and Media lab greatly influenced his artistic career and work to create a body positive environment within the field. Mike Sladek (he/him/his), Ph.D. (BAM class of 2013),completed his doctorate in developmental psychology at Arizona State University and a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education. Mike is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology at The University of Oklahoma, where he directs the Contexts of Health, Adolescent Resilience, and Measuring Stress (CHARMS) Lab and teaches undergraduate Lifespan Development and graduate seminar courses (e.g., LGBTQ+ Psychology). In his research he strives to advocate for strengths-based and identity-affirming approaches to advance social justice in developmental science, specifically to better understand youth's experiences and identities in everyday social and cultural contexts - and how the combination of youth's experiences, identities, and contexts uniquely shape their health, well-being, and adjustment in school.
Dr. Lisa Velkoff (BAM class of 2013) is a clinical psychologist specializing in eating disorders, self-harm, and suicide. She completed her doctorate at Miami University under the mentorship of Dr. April Smith and is a postdoctoral fellow at the Eating Disorders Treatment and Research Program at UC San Diego. Her primary line of research focuses on identifying proximal and modifiable risk factors, such as interoceptive impairment, in the short-term prediction of episodes of various forms of self-harm. Lisa's additional research interests include body dissatisfaction, disordered eating and suicide among minority populations, and the development of accessible interventions that can be delived via phone app or telehealth.
Nicole Hendrix Ph.D., BCBA (BAM class of 2012) completed her doctorate in school psychology at the University of Iowa. She is an Assistant Professor at the Pediatric Institute with the Emory University School of Medicine, where her clinical work focuses on children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families. Her research focuses on early identification and intervention and improving service accessibility.
Kaitlin Levin (BAM class of 2012) is a fourth-year clinical psychology doctoral student at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in New York City. Her clinical focus is in the area of women's mental health. She has experience working with breast cancer patients, women with perinatal mood/anxiety disorders, and college students struggling with negative body image and eating disordered behavior.
Kathryn (Rulon) Mancini (BAM class of 2012) is a pediatric psychology post-doctoral fellow at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Areas of emphasis include integrated pediatric primary care and affirmative care for gender non-conforming and transgender youth.
Jennifer Piemonte (BAM class of 2012) is a graduate student in the Joint PhD Program in Psychology (Personality and Social Contexts) and Women's Studies at the University of Michigan. Her research interests include feminist psychology, sexual scripts, and stigmatized identities.
Scott Beymer (BAM class of 2011) earned his MA in psychology and is currently a Client Engagement Manager on Bain's NPS PRISM team. He works closely with clients to advise them on CX and business insights.
Heather Mintz (BAM class of 2011) managed the Weight Management and Eating Disorders research lab at Washington University in St. Louis after graduation and went on to complete her Masters in Public Health at Harvard University in 2015. She is currently the Director for the Department of Surgery at NorthShore University HealthSystem.
Sara Morrow (BAM class of 2011) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated with her Masters of Science from The Family Institute at Northwestern University in 2015, and then pursued a fellowship in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies for Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Now, she works at Chicago Center for Relationship Counseling (CCRC), specializing in women's mental health issues, Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders, couples therapy, and anxiety disorders. She is also a clinical supervisor for therapists pursuing their licensure. Most importantly, she is an avid dog lover!

Rachel Ostrov, MA, LCSW (BAM class of 2009) is a clinical social worker in the field of mental health. She is currently working at Northwestern Medicine in Women's Behavioral Health with a focus on perinatal and postpartum care. She also has experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings including schools, clinics, and hospitals.
Elise Krause (BAM class of 2008) is in her tenth year of teaching at her high school alma mater, Wayland Academy. She is also a full-time doctoral student in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at UW-Madison, where she is studying literacy and teacher education. She still talks about BAM all the time like it's her job and throws away beauty magazines when she sees them on campus. This habit has caused several small conflicts in her life.
Ashley Rolnik, Ph.D. (BAM class of 2008) earned a doctorate in clinical psychology from Loyola University Chicago and completed her clinical health psychology internship at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine (specialty in gastroenterology and hepatology). She is currently the Behavioral Medicine Director for Gastroenterology and Weight Management at NorthShore University HealthSystem.
